Age Tech is the heroes among us. The devices that can save our lives

CES 2020 has not only been about flying cars or human-like robots. We should never forget that technologies are created to ease suffering and save our lives, too. We have got enough knowledge, approachable technologies, and a great amount of different social needs. The question arises instantly, why not to combine them in order to save somebody’s life? The solution exists and they are Age Tech devices, a mix of cutting-edge possibilities, love, and care.

It is a well-known fact – a family that connects together stays together. Messages, calls, and other ways of communication are a way to prevent a mass of nervous situations and even horrible deaths. Today I will tell you about two companies that were exhibitors at CES 2020.

The technology is pretty simple, and we all know that genius is in simplicity. The CARU Smart Sensor is a setup that was first created for the care sector. With its help, all generations can stay connected, which means that this gadget targets not only senior citizens but the whole family.

The CARU Smart Sensor learns, adapts, and helps you. The system interacts with people to construct a foundation for safety and security conditions. CARU understands simple voice commands so you are able to use it as a voice assistant.

Moreover, you can make emergency calls, telephone calls, and create audio messages, without texting on your smartphone or tablet. Smart System connects via WiFi or an integrated SIM card, plus it has got an app which you can adjust to your individual needs.

CARU home is available for both corporate and private clients. But the reason is still the same; to create a shield of presence and attention. The sensor learns your habits and daily behavior, plus with the web app, you can adjust the device and get all your notifications when something goes wrong. “If an alarm is triggered, a direct phone call is made every time” – as the company states. CARU notices a deviation in behavior and immediately calls relatives or nursing staff.

CarePredict is a company with a small gadget but a huge aim. They have created a health tracker for people you care for every day and night. Simple things can create not only genius ideas but also can destroy a whole ecosystem and spoil somebody’s life. The idea is never missing a thing, even when it is too minor to make an accent on.

The CarePredict Tempo is a health tracker that uses AI to learn and to follow daily habits.

It watches over day-to-day behavior and identifies deviations that could be related to some health changes.

The bracelet is equipped with a sensor which learns your daily habits without rest. And it is not a joke; an in-place, swappable battery means never having to take it off to recharge. This sensor continuously learns the space you are living in to alert you when you may have fallen ill. Also on the body of the bracelet, there is a big built-in button, and the simple press on it can save you, your beloved parents, or grandparents.

Wrapping Up

All things considered, it seems reasonable to assume that technologies are instruments that help to create the necessary conditions for better living. Calm is not drinking the morning coffee, or when your smartphone is not bursting with business tasks. Calmness is the confidence that one day you will not receive a message with bad news. With the help of modern technology, it is no longer a problem.

Hennadii will proudly tell you that he’s a dreamer, floating in the ether, surrounded by ideas and the dreams of others. He connects with the idea of water; being part of a bigger ecosystem. Even as a kid, he immersed himself in the realms of others; growing up with video games and computers, knowing them to be cool even back then. Writing is cathartic, even meditative for Hennadii; a dip in the chaotic stream of innovation that flows forth from the world of tech. This virtual hippie is here to tell you about the latest gadgets over a cup of marshmallow filled chocolate.
