Apple showed off cards in its sleeves announcing the other event. The company intriguingly called it a ‘One More Thing’ event that is planned for November 10th. We should possibly wait for the first Arm-based Macs that are powered with Apple’s chipset instead of the Intel processors the company has used since 2005.
‘One More Thing’ has become a canon phrase for Apple. The most attentive Apple fans could notice that the former CEO Steve Jobs was using when announcing something really tremendous. Also The Verge mentioned that the last time Apple used the phrase was for announcement of the iPhone X in 2017.
Together with the announcement of the event Apple has included an augmented reality teaser, which is the invitation, hinting to Mac. The Apple logo on the video seems like opening and closing a laptop panel.
This is super cool. The Apple event logo in AR resembles opening and closing a MacBook.

In June during WWDC Apple revealed their decision to replace Intel processors to their own Apple Silicon CPUs. In addition, the company mentioned releasing their computers with Arm-based chips later in 2020. So the new upcoming laptops are not rumors but the fact. As an argument for such a decision Apple says that their chips will provide a better performance with lower power consumption from its own Arm-based efforts.
We all know that it also means more stable independence for the company. Also Apple will now rely only on itself when it comes to the device construction. That means the company will develop such powering as they wish.
Together with the new chipset and Macs, we are also waiting to see the launch of macOS 11 Big Sur, which Apple announced at WWDC together with their CPUs.
