TIGER
Tiger Woods’ very own 2-part documentary that showcases the highs and lows of his personal life and career. Already being compared to Michael Jordans’ Last Dance and referred to as the ‘Tiger’ version. The trailer features his mistress Rachel Uchitel and his ex-wife is nowhere to be seen, hinting that it is set to be full of honesty whilst looking at the golfer’s comeback. The first installment of Tiger will be available on HBO Max on January 10th, with part two the following week on January 17th.
OUTSIDE THE WIRE
Anthony Mackie stars as ‘Leo’, the robot military officer alongside Damson Idris playing ‘Harp’ the drone pilot. Together the pair must race to find a doomsday device in a deadly military zone before it gets into the wrong hands. Outside the Wire hits Netflix January 15th.
PALMER
Justin Timberlake takes a dramatic turn as former high school football star Eddie Palmer, played by the new to movies Justin Timberlake returns home from a 12 years prison stint. A former high school footballer at the top of his game, he forms a friendship with Sam the neighbors child. Sam played by Ryder Allen is from a neglectful family and refuses to conform with gender identity. He is often the subject of bullying as a result. We’re excited to see Timberlake in this heavy role and hope that the film treats the sensitive topic of a child’s gender identity with care. Palmer will be available on Apple TV Plus on January 29th.
THE LITTLE THINGS
On the trail of a serial killer (Jared Leto) are Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Denzel Washington) and Sgt. Jim Baxter (Rami Malek). Tracking the predator as he preys on women dredges up the troubled past Deke has been trying to keep under wraps. The story might be one of the oldest in the book but Washington is always worth watching. The Little Things debutes in theaters and on HBO Max January 29th.
COMING 2 AMERICA
Eddie Murphy reprises his 1988 comedy role as Prince Akeem in the Coming to America sequel. The Prince of Zamunda, now turned King must travel back to Queens to find his estranged son and return with his male heir. Joined once again by his loyal sidekick Semmi played by Arsenio Hall both reprise some of their many well loved supporting characters from the first film along the way. James Earl Jones, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, John Amos, Wesley Snipes, and Shari Headley also star. Coming 2 America hits Amazon Prime Video on March 5th.
