Nickelback has recorded a meme version of their meme song “Photograph” for a new Google Photos ad. The parody makes the song even double meme, you should definitely hear it. The core idea of the ad circulates around Nickelback’s frontman Chad Kroeger, who jokes the hack out of himself. He uses “Photograph” meme passages showing different ironic self-references.

You can hear jokes connected with Kroeger in this ad. For example jokes about noodle hair, or jackets he used to wear a long time ago. The video catches not only roasting memes but also all active functions that Google Photos gives to its users.

The song “Photograph” celebrates its 15 years anniversary, and so we can talk about memes connected to it. The ad wakes our nostalgia from a cryogenic dream, and thanks to Google people can launch another wave of meme stream. Also The Verge notes in the original article that Nickelback wrote the upgraded lyrics for the parody song. So the band catches some nostalgia vibes too.

If we omit the meme format of “Photograph”, it will seem very good and too catchy. We recommend you to switch to another song because you will sing it till the end of the week.

Despite all jokes about Nickelback, we should remind you that Google changes its storage policy in Photos. The company announced it will end its unlimited storage offer for “high quality” photos after June 1st, 2021. If you want to store more than 15GB after that cut-off, you’ll have to subscribe to Google One. It means you have to pay for reviewing your own photos.
