It’s quite possible that Samsung has accidentally let slip the name of the next foldable phone whilst in a closed-door meeting with their partner at CES 2020 in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the rule of “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” doesn’t apply at one of the world’s largest technology conferences.

The new device is rumored to have a vertical bend in the same vein as the Motorola Razr and is said to go by the name Galaxy Bloom. The name has been reported by SamMobile, who cited a report from the South Korean publication Aju News.

Industry watchers reckon Samsung is going to reveal the second generation of their folding phone on February 11th when it’s holding the Unpacked event in San Francisco. At the same event, it’s anticipated that Samsung will launch the follow-up to the Galaxy S10. Although widely referred to as the Galaxy S11, rumors abound that Samsung might take a leap and call it the S20.

In the same report, there has also been speculation of additional models of the newest phone that are going to be called the Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.
