Taiwan’s National Communication Commission (NCC) has revealed real images of Sony’s upcoming PS5 body, so you can check in close up how reasonable its size is. In the photos from the NCC, you can see the next-gen console from different angles. The PS5 is lying horizontally in the images, but the black, rounded base hints that you’d better put it vertical, plus there are photos of cables included in the kit and a wireless DualSense controller.

As you may have noticed, the PS5 is tremendously big. The Verge noted that the PS5 is the biggest console in modern history, even in comparison with its predecessors the PS3 and the Xbox One’s VCR-like shape. Even though Sony revealed the official PS5 dimensions during their event the previous week, they hadn’t mentioned that it’s the largest thing they’ve ever made.

I suggest you rearrange your gaming zone at home because your PS5 will really demand a lot of space, just like the Xbox Series X does. Both consoles have the option to stand vertically, but let’s be honest, it is quite complicated to fit such a device into your ecosystem. However, the vertical position is better for air circulation, so it can cool down the impressive PS5 and Xbox Series X hardware.

According to the photos, the way users should insert the expansion to the PS5’s memory in the NVMe slot is still not clear.

Also, you can see how giants PS5 is in comparison with other consoles.

Sony is launching the PS5 in the US on November 12, priced at $499.99. A second PS5 Digital Edition will also be available for $399.99. Sony also revealed earlier this week that PS5 games will cost up to $69.99.
