Instagram is making a generous celebration of its anniversary by delivering us some new features. Instagram launched ten years ago and, since then, it’s become a digital giant and the main social influencer. TechCrunch reports some new features the app that gives us all a birthday present and these are: a private “Stories Map” that’ll remind you about the place you’ve posted that shameful story three years ago, and some general updates, along with an IGTV Shopping update. You can now even choose a custom app icon to make your Instagram fit your home screen style.

Both iOS and Android users have the option to adjust the app’s icon style and choose from: shades of orange, yellow, green, purple, black, white, and more. There’s also a rainbow-colored Pride icon and several versions of classic icons.

Instagram arranges the new Stories Map in the form of a calendar and a private map, but only the stories you’ve posted over the past three years. However, you shouldn’t reject everything and type a complaint to Facebook for picking up your stories that are supposed to be nowhere. Every profile on Instagram has got an archive where all your stories go to rest after 24 hours of being in public. The new “Stories Map” is available right now; you can find it by pressing the button in the right top corner, and there the archive is situated.

Instagram continues to fight against bullying through the internet so with the new feature it will start hiding comments that are equal to those people are reporting. Those comments won’t disappear from the platform, you can still click the “View Hidden Comments” button and see them. Besides, Instagram will become a call of conscience for people that continue posting offensive comments. Instagram sent an encouraging notification to users to think twice before posting. According to The Verge the platform is currently testing both features.
