Recently we have told you that Apple launched an open beta mode for people to try out a new iOS 14 update. And one of the new features of the upcoming update is to notificate you with green color when the app is using your camera or orange color when your mic is enabled.
What could go wrong? Our cheerful greeting to Instagram. The Verge reported that some users could see the green indicator while using Instagram when they were doing their habitual daily scroll through their feeds.

The Verge received the email from the Instagram spokesperson claiming the indicator was wrong and it was a bug.
“We only access your camera when you tell us to — for example, when you swipe from Feed to Camera. We found and are fixing a bug in iOS 14 Beta that mistakenly indicates that some people are using the camera when they are not the spokesperson said. “We do not access your camera in those instances, and no content is recorded.”
