Three days ago Apple held its digital showcase WWDC 2021, and, to tell you the truth, the company had a pile of news and announcements. Recently we have made our first look at iOS 15, privacy upgrades, and FaceTime improvements.

Thanks to The Verge with its rapid comments on the WWDC 2021, so we can show you some other new features you should definitely keep your eyes on.

iOS 15 has major improvements for FaceTime, Notifications, Messages, and more

Apple is making a greater emphasis on FaceTime features. As a result, the iOS 15 is coming with a spatial audio, a new “SharePlay” feature that lets you share media with people on FaceTime virtually, you can share your call with Android users, notifications will get a new look, the ability to set different modes in “Focus” statuses, updates to Memories in Photos, a redesign to the weather app, and much more.

Apple provides users with a new SharePlay feature. It’ll let you watch or listen to content with other users virtually. Apple is also introducing a SharePlay API so that other developers can adjust or even build apps that support the feature.

Live Text is the other interesting feature in iOS 15 that promises to digitize text in photos. This should ease the copy process, and allow you to paste text from photos. Apple says it uses “on-device intelligence” for the feature.

Apple Wallet gets the update in iOS 15 too

Apple Wallet soon will be able to use your iPhone as the ID at the Airport (in participating US states).

iPadOS 15 makes friends with Widgets and brings changes to Multitasking

Finally, with iPadOS 15 you can add widgets to the home screen and get access to the app library. Apple also introduced improvements connected with multitasking so it’ll become easier for users to manage apps, and be able to build apps with Swift Playgrounds.

Apple announced new privacy-focused features at WWDC, including that Apple Mail will block tracking pixels with Mail Privacy Protection and that Safari will hide IPs. Apple is also introducing a new section in settings called the “App Privacy Report.”

Apple lets Siri accept many requests while the user is offline. Also the company will let third-party accessory makers add Siri to their devices, Apple announced during WWDC.

Tabs and tab groups in Safari will look different, on iOS, the tab bar will move to the bottom of the screen so it will be easier for users to reach with a thumb.

TestFlight is the new feature that’ll help developers to test apps through Xcode Cloud.

Apple announced that it will let developers use TestFlight to test their apps on the Mac. The company also announced Xcode Cloud, which lets you test your apps across all Apple devices in the cloud.
