The wheel is the greatest discovery and invention of human beings, with the achievement dating back to 4500–3300 BC. Since then, science has taken some great leaps forward. Thanks to science, we have prototypes of flying cars, virtual humans replete with AI, and mini-computers in our pockets called smartphones.

Apple is a company that has prised open our eyes wider and released one of the best gadgets ever in 2007. In modern times, we know Apple as a trustworthy company that designs products with premium quality and premium price tags. Recently the company has released a lot of new products which should impress us if not due to the technical features, then by the mismatch of functionality and price.

In the year when the Mac Pro was announced, there has now appeared an option to buy a Pro Stand for the Pro Display XDR with a price tag of $999. Everybody around the world was in awe at the sight of it; the correlation between the price and the problems it solves is like the earth and the ocean, two opposite notions.

However, Apple likes to surprise us, and they have released the Mac Pro Wheels Kit to, quite literally, put your Mac Pro on wheels. The company offers 2 pairs of wheels in the box. The wheels are made of custom-designed stainless steel and rubber and, maybe, that’s all the necessary information already covered.

Wait a minute, you might be asking the question: what’s the price tag for the new iPhone SE? Your answer is, the cheapest 64GB version costs $399. Make a couple of calculations and you’ll see the Mac Pro Wheels Kit cost almost as much as two iPhones SE. My inner child is screaming because it needs answers. I understand that Apple is the type of company that has gained its authority through years of development and confidently holds its position at the top, but these are no explanations as to why the price is high.
