In a fresh update, Minecraft players will get free access to the PlayStation VR version later this month the developer, Mojang Studios, announced in a blog post yesterday.
This modification was only a matter of time because Minecraft has already occupied almost all kinds of available platforms. The collection will be concluded with a VR update for Sony, the company states that they’ll drop a new update totally for free.

As the studio writes on PlayStation.Blog “Everyone who has Minecraft on PlayStation 4 will get that patch automatically. Download that patch and you’ll get access to the new Minecraft VR functionality.” Of course, you’ll need a PS VR setup in order to use it.
The company also notes that they didn’t make any major changes in gameplay, so the iconic title will remain the same as people already know. You’ll use the controller to manipulate the surrounding world but the VR headset will help you to achieve full immersion.
Mojang ignites people’s desire to get fully in the Minecraft universe. We can’t complain about that fact, because we are glad that, despite the decade-long existence, this game still catches the attention of more than 200 million players.
