Ghost of Tsushima will get a free co-op update this autumn. Sucker Punch Productions has released a video teaser to show off the new mode. You’ll be able to choose the hero out of four legendary warriors: hunter, assassin, ronin, and samurai. Every class will get some unique abilities you can use to defeat your enemies. The location seems like the underworld and your enemies are some kind of yokai, or demons.

“You’ll be able to partner up with friends or via online matchmaking and play Legends in groups of 2-4 players.” Sucker Punch wrote for PS.Blog. There are even different challenges when your team is full or not. For example:

“With two players in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you’ll be able to play a series of co-op story missions that escalate in difficulty, building on the foundation of combat from the single-player campaign but with new magical twists that often require careful synchronization with your partner.”

“With four players, you’ll be able to take on wave-based survival missions, fighting groups of the toughest enemies Tsushima has to offer, Including new Oni enemies with supernatural abilities.”
