Have you missed more rumors about the next-gen consoles? Here is a new one. The Verge has posted the article with references to the next Xbox console and its mysterious controller. The word – mysterious matches wonderfully here, because Microsoft still hasn’t commented on what this controller is or how it has been leaked. However, twitter user Zak S has got enough photos to demonstrate that the Xbox Series S is real, and is waiting above the corner.

Zak S received the new controller for the resale site, and there are even instructions in the box. It states that the Xbox Series S controller is compatible with both Microsoft Series S and X. Our calendar of events doesn’t have any future Microsoft announcements, so there is no clear information when the company will release a cheaper next-gen console.
Last month was the first time when a potential Xbox Series S controller appeared on the internet. It has got all the buttons the black Xbox Series X version has: the new D-pad, textured triggers, and new share button.

The release of the new but slightly cheaper next-gen console is somewhere there without any doub, and we will see it very soon. The fact that Sony got two PS5 versions (with disk drive and without) warms my confidence that Microsoft also got two next-gen consoles. Plus, we noticed the Microsoft document that was leaked in June with the comment about the company’s plans for two next-gen consoles. Xbox Series S is supposed to be with a codename Lockhart.
We expect to see next specs when the Lockhart will be released: 7.5GB of usable RAM, around 4 teraflops of GPU performance, and ship with the same CPU found on the Xbox Series X.
