If I was paid for my predictions, I would probably get zero out of zero. Microsoft hasn’t revealed a release date of the Senuas Saga: Hellblade 2, or any refuting information about the Xbox Series S next-gen console with weaker specs. 

However, the event was stunningly admirable, and the games that coming to the Xbox Series X are remarkable. Microsoft unveiled exclusives and brand-new titles that are coming for the next-gen console.

Fable

It was a signal of the alarm clock to wake up Fable series fans. A new Fable game will be available for Xbox Series X and PC users. Playground Games responsible for developing Forza Horizon is responsible for the rebirth of the beloved franchise. 

Halo Infinite

Eight minutes of the Halo Infinite’s gameplay. Showing off a dynamic scene where Master Chief is dealing with a bunch of aliens. 343 Industries developed a Halo franchise rebirth so that both fans and new players can enjoy the game without missing a plot. 

Forza Motorsport

Forza Motorsport is a high-quality answer to Sony’s Gran Turismo. It is the continuation of the car racing game series from Turn 10 studios. Microsoft promises that the upcoming game will offer 4K / 60fps gameplay and the addition of more realistic ray-tracing lighting.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

Is the long-awaited continuation of the survival-horror developed by GSC Gameworld. The game is coming for the Xbox Series X.

Avowed

Avowed is a new project from the famous Obsidian Entertainment studio. It is a fantasy roleplaying game that takes place in Eora, the setting of Obsidian’s 2015 game Pillars of Eternity, and its 2018 sequel. There is no release date, but the game will be available for the current-gen console.

Tetris Effect: Connected

It is the enlargement for the classic puzzle game adding a full multiplayer mode. The biggest feature is the all-new co-op and competitive modes. The expansion was developed by the Monstars and Resonair and will be a timed exclusive on PC (on the Microsoft Store) and Xbox platforms.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

According to Bungie words: Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be available for Xbox Game Pass. And users who have a subscription on Game Pass in September will get Destiny 2 for free and it will include access to previous expansions and the upcoming Destiny 2: Beyond Light DLC.

Balan Wonderworld

Square game from Yuji Naka announces a new Balan Wonderworld game. It is the action game where the player will be a part of the 12 different tales, led by the “mysterious clown” Balan. Your task is to collect more than 80 various costumes that unlock new abilities and will help you to finish the game. Balan Wonderworld will be available in spring 2021 for both next-gen console Xbox Series X and current-gen – Xbox One.

Everwild

Everwild looks super meditative according to the trailer. It is the new game from Rare, and in the trailer, you can see that the game tries to deliver the idea of nature connections between fantastic animals, people, and the entire world.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon 

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon is the expansion to Obsidian’s RPG that released last year. It will be available on September 9th.

Tell me Why

Life is Strange developers Dontnod Entertainment keeps on creating wonderful games with tensive stories engaging users to immerse fully in the game. Tell me Why is a story about brother and sister living in Alaska facing flashback about their past. Dontnod Entertainment promise not to cut the game on several chapters as it was with Life is Strange and release all three episodes at once.

Psychonauts 2

Psychonauts 2 is a cute game, with a rich color palette and queer world developed by Double Fine. You will play for Raz who is a dream traveler. The game is coming in 2021.

CrossfireX 

CrossfireX is a console version of the military shooter developed by the collaboration between Control developer Remedy Entertainment and Smilegate, the Korean developer of the hugely popular FPS Crossfire. The game will see the world this year.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition

Microsoft has revealed that the game is coming on Xbox on December 4th. It is a developed version of the RPG that was spreading with slow but confident steps firstly on the Nintendo Switch, then PS4 and PC, and now on Xbox.

The Gunk 

The developers of the SteamWorld franchise announces a new adventure game called The Gunk, where you should travel across the mysterious world “cleaning” it from a strange black mass.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is the “latest entry to the Phantasy Star Online 2 universe” from Sega. It will launch in 2021.

The Medium 

Finally, a horror. The Medium is a psychological horror game from the Bloober Team responsible for Blair Witch. During the game, you will see the story of Marianne who is a protagonist and, perhaps, a detective with a rather unique ability to teleport between physical and a spirit world. 

Sable

Sable’s atmosphere resembles me The Journey. It is a new open-world adventure game from Raw Fury and indie developer Shedworks with a beautiful art style. And definitely the game I would like to enjoy with all my cells. The release will be in 2021.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a new title coming from Fatshark, the developers of the Warhammer: Vermintide games. You will be able to fight against hordes of cruel creatures  in a cooperation mode up to four players. The game is coming to PC and Xbox Series X next year.

Grounded

Grounded is an online co-op multiplayer from Obsidian Entertainment. It is a survival genre game, where you are playing as a kid shrunk to the size of a flee and must build and create different instruments and buildings to survive. The release date is on July 28, 2020, and the game will be available on PC and Xbox One.
